Raised in the outskirts of Manchester by her mum (an ex-dancer) and her dad ("the most Mancunian man you'll ever meet"). Sukie has quickly grown into a creative force, from her endearing vocal performances and colourful instrumentation to fronting all visual and creative aspects surrounding her work.

After attending university in the South of England, she and her partner (and producer), Theo, moved to Bath, where she is currently based. Whilst at uni she wrote her first EP - "Feliz Cumpleanos Baby!". Working minimum-wage summer jobs to make ends meet.

A string of singles followed, catching the attention of several industry tastemakers including When The Horn Blows, Wonderland, Notion, Fizzy Mag. BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing South West, 6 Music and Radio 2 as well as performances at the likes of Thekla, Queen of Hoxton and receiving her first headline show at Oslo, Hackney in July 2021.
