Berlin based, German-Cameroonian chuala is fast becoming known for her effortlessly cool fusion of electronic R&B.

After being initially discovered by Atlantic Records NYC when she was 14, she has been penning a variety of songs for a plethora of international artists as a writer with UMP (Universal Music Publishing), Germany. Now creating her own truly unique brand of electronic R&B from the diverse and dynamic city of Berlin, chuala comments on socio-political issues spanning from the patriarchal society to the sexual status of women.

The release of her EP ‘me and chu’ in the summer of 2021 brought chuala’s music into the international sphere with support from media across the world, key supporters including Colors, Crack, Dummy, Lyrical Lemonade, Culted, i-D, and Clash Magazine.

With a steady and growing fanbase and to date has collaborated with artists such asm Rudimental and Big Narstie and brands such as ‘sneakersnstuff’, chuala is ready to carve her very own space in the current soundscape.
